Want to get involved with statewide community college issues that really impact teaching and learning across the system? The Institutional Effectiveness Partnership Initiative (IEPI) is a statewide collaborative effort, supported by the State Chancellor’s Office, to help advance the effective practices of the California Community Colleges and significantly reduce the number of accreditation sanctions and state and federal audit issues.
IEPI enhances the system’s ability to serve its students effectively and improve student success in measurable ways. An important focus of the initiative is to draw on the exceptional expertise and innovation that exists within the system in advancing effective practices and avoiding potential pitfalls. This is especially true for communications.
One of the key issues that comes up time and time again is communications issues. As public information, marketing and communications professionals, joining one of the IEPI teams would be a great way to help your colleagues across the state and also boost your background in issues affecting California’s community colleges.
Think about getting involved: The three primary components of the initiative are a framework of indicators, professional development and technical assistance.Choose one of these areas and make your mark statewide.
